I should be excited about the holiday, but I can't stop worrying. Knowing more layoffs are coming, knowing they could announce them any day now… It's hard to feel any festive spirit when you're waiting for that kind of news. This whole situation just feels so wrong.

The problem underneath is that we don't have a constantine. No constantine will approve hiring of as ians and laying off his own people. What we have now is the un-Christian. Need a new war ruler to restore the old ways.
There are a lot of people worse off than you…think of people living in areas of war, not knowing if their town will be bombed by missiles tonight. There are people with Stage 4 cancer who know this will be their last Christmas. There are people without homes who will be outside in freezing temps tonight. If you have a job, good health, a hot meal and a roof over your head tonight, consider yourself blessed, get the he-l off this app and celebrate the holiday tonight.
OP - hand in your resignation , then you will not need to worry about being laid off
Worry changes nothing about tomorrow and ruins today .
You have your job and complaining it doesn’t feel like Christmas? Have you given one second of thought about the thousands of people who are reading this at home, jobless, on Christmas Eve? Selfish, awful and shameful.
@a2And in YOUR 🙌 hands! Start looking update your linked in profile, start networking . Remember- Verizon is not the same company - we are going down the drain - put your destiny in your hands! Happy Holidays…
@OP attend to the duties of the day. The future is always unknown but, and remember this especially this time of year, it’s all in God’s Hands.
