Anyone have an anecdotal evidence that Ansys grants a non-compete waiver? I have an offer from Ansys's customer (OEM) and they want me to get a waiver to join
Based in the USA (not in CA). Please comment if you have any insight into this.

Tô my knowledge, they can't block you for being contracted by any company. You should be free to work for anyone you want
Yes but that's the case if I leave the company which I won't in case I don't get the waiver.
get a lawyer. the terms of your non compete may (like mine) contain a clause entitling you to compensation from there company if they refuse to release you from the non compete. you can also Google lawsuits the company has filed in the past in, which were dismissed
