@ct yes lay offs are on the horizon, everything is being reorganized again. Not sure if a big meeting mid month of Jan 26 or after a big meeting that’s is going to go down in Jan

@g3 Ahhh, you might have hit on something there. 8 weeks of pay to close out the first quarter and then the lump sum payment. I jst don’t know why the new layoff data isn’t out there yet. I t will be posted by January 16th

@21j notices start tomorrow. Be on the lookout for 1x1 meetings with your manager and a HR person. Good luck!

@g3
I really hope they start with Enterprise middle management, especially people like Michael Gandy. From what I’ve seen, he lacks real business experience, has shown discriminatory behavior, and built his results on heavy churn instead of sustainable growth. It’s frustrating to watch strong employees take the hit while leadership like this continues unchecked. That kind of management hurts people and the business, and it should be addressed.

If you don’t think there will be layoffs in January, you’re stupid. There WILL be layoffs and they will affect the groups that are currently over indexed. They will go into full affect in March

@a2 Of course the point of telling people ahead of time is hoping to force attention. Ever think that you don’t know the real plan for a specific reason?

@a2 no way, srini a already confirmed lay off by end of Q1 2026. Would not be surprised if it was bigger than the one Verizon just did

There will be no layoffs. The current plan is to have a hiring freeze and allow attrition (people who retire or otherwise quit) to happen. Current attrition target is 3% for 2026. If that is not met by 12/31/2026 layoff will happen in 2027. I am in HR and OD and that is the plan.
