Hard work and dedication clearly don’t pay off, and layoffs are always looming. Why should anyone care about the outcomes? Worse, from what we’ve seen over the years, the better you are at your job, the higher the chance you’ll be cut. And god forbid you actually show professional integrity.

@c5 this is the saddest part of it all. They have created an environment of people not caring and being totally disconnected from the company. No loyalty to employees breeds no loyalty from employees. There is no drive or benefit for the average employee to want to do anything but the bare minimum while they are waiting their turn to be let go.

Yeah it’s sad really. I used to enjoy my job but now I find myself simply going through the motions just to get through the day. I get burnt out so much faster now too.
