Thread regarding Occidental Petroleum Corp. layoffs

There was a lot of connection between Oxychem and OOGC when the CEO and president were chemical engineers and knowledgeable about both the chemical industry and the oil and gas industry. Since they left there hasn’t been that intelligence at the top.

@kf Oh but just a couple months ago when this deal was announced several posters on this site ( you know who you are) were adamant that OPC would transfer people to OxyChem for positions that OxyChem did not have. They even named the departments. They were so sure of it. So they must be out there, dozens of them.

No answer here sounds like the answer to the question…
Very little overlap between OOGC and OxyChem so it is not surprising.
