Is there going to be any reorg or Becton Di-kinson layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Isn't it just because of segments separations that cause reorganisation in general? Not exactly did the VP's and the rest leave because they "know sth"

@1b8 newsflash: the inefficiencies are being introduced daily with the new "vision" - incompetent leaders who know buzzwords but not how things actually work, people disconnected from data and process holding kaizens to fix problems they don't understand, handing work off to overworked and under directed lower level managers, incompetent associate directors running projects to timelines that are not achievable because they have strayed from common sense - an absolute sh-t show. They are throwing the baby out with the bathwater with each round of layoffs. By the time they are done no number of useless PWC consultants will be able to fix it. PS - PWC is your problem

BD works with various lobbies, including some ethno-lobbies, but there isn’t a pro-BD lobby. Shrewd folks understand that BD has a limited future and simply try to maximize profits while it lasts. Generally, Chinese and Indian workers are known for their strong work ethic, but BD’s situation runs counter to that reputation. It seems to consist mostly of people from the lower end of the IQ spectrum but the higher end of the corruption spectrum. Along with that BD has Coty problem, all rejected folks from Coty came to BD to make it Coty like organization.

Some inefficient people were let go, but the cartel leaders are still there. They already started bringing more inefficiencies from outside BD and inside alike. If you really want to remove all inefficiencies, then you have to let go 60% people.

@1b8 oh please ZERO inefficiencies were addressed - it was just a purge to claw back some money. the sell off of land in Franklin lakes won't help them either

Layoffs and reorg are definitely coming in February according to the rumor mill. Some will be offered severance after a contractual period that will coincide with the go lives of some major projects like the biosciences spin off

@OP

During the last phase of layoff, many inefficiencies were addressed; however, a considerable amount still persists. These inefficiencies hinder organizational performance and long-term growth. Historically, BD has responded to underperformance through additional layoffs—a reactive approach that offers only short-term relief. A more sustainable path forward is to strategically realign roles and responsibilities based on skills and organizational needs. Without this shift, the company risks falling into the same cycle year after year. So, yeah, expect more layoff.

There are significant shifts occurring within Pharm Systems. Given the introduction of a new CCO role and the recent departure of over 5 VPs, it would be wise to monitor the situation closely folks. Why they all left? They know more than you.
