Remember, the same magas that b*tch about the ACA subsidies are the same magas that are ok with subsidizing tax cuts for the rich all while they're barely surviving.

When did you ever decide where your tax dollars go?? Taxes dollars are wasted in multiple categories. Again, I’d rather not see my fellow American suffer because of the healthcare crisis in the USA.

@1j3

Those with a functioning brain may realize that these seemingly contradictory opinions may actually come from different people.

Mind-blowing concept, I know.

On one hand you all bi--h about how much money this company makes especially with the layoffs, but yet you want to extend the tax credits so “checks notes” the taxpayer feels the burden and the company makes more money.

I’d advise you all to start using your brains during your layoff.

Yes the subsidies are set to expire, however, did the trump admin come up with something “much better” than the current ACA? And of course because Obama did it he has to smear it even more. Since our lying president didn’t come up with anything better, shouldn’t we extended the subsidies? I do not want to see my fellow Americans suffer because healthcare in this country is a joke. Our own company, Cigna, made its own “subsidies” to keep our health insurance low. I know mine only went up a little over $1 a month. So please get off of Trumps p-e p-e. He’s going to use this moment to blast the CEOs and pretend he did something magnificent. Yet this man rubs shoulders with these types of people everyday. He is a joke.

@q2 you mean those temporary subsidies to get us through the pandemic? When exactly do the temporary subsidies end? Feels like the temporary is expected to be the permanent. It is government so I know that’s how it has been, but they do need to end at some point right?

@q2 Exactly. He’s the master of unnecessarily creating a problem then trying to claim victory for “solving” it. Of course he won’t even solve it.

What a joke. He’s going to try to pressure insurers to reduce the premiums on ACA plans which are set to go up dramatically because HIS party refuses to extend the enhanced premium subsidies. You can’t make this stuff up.
