For employees who have an ID badge with a chip, does WF use it to track their location?

Not sure where your office is, but in mine they tatooed a barcode on the back of my neck and it gets scanned everywhere I go.
Hey, so the way it works is the more you move the more they track you. Best to stay as still as possible throughout your work day. Leave your badge inside a lead box during non working hours so they don’t know where you are. Also, using lead paint blocks the signal. They told you it causes cancer but that’s not true they just don’t want to block their EMF technology from reaching you.
Nah
They track several ways
- Badge swipes
- IP address
- Location services
- Tower pings
- And more
No, there is no technology in place to track your card location. Heck we can barely manage to track hours in office.
@d1 Who starts at 9 am except for people that don’t want to find a seat
Yes, my manager asked me why I was in the bathroom so much and I told him I had hemorrhoids and constipation
Yes. Just work as prescribed M-F 9-5. Been done for over a century and focus on your work. When you perform as agreed you don't have to even think about surveillance silly
The sheer stupidity. Of course you are being tracked- multiple way. Go back to work & actually work.
Hahahaha
no
USAA literally does this at their campuses. They can tell where you are at in the building because the ceiling sensors detect your badge. Hospitals use a similar system.
