Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Baich: An AT&T exec manifested his C-suite position when he was earning his MBA . . .

“So, I literally came up with a plan to become a CISO, and I executed on it.”

@d1 You mean the guy we in CSO were told would work in Charlotte when he was first hired. Then when the official announcement was made company wide it said he would be in Dallas. FYI he never actually moved to Dallas and public records, tax and voter registration, can easily confirm that. Now Charlotte is a CSO hub. You mean that POS guy?

They recently fired someone with superior network/router knowledge that told them things they didn't want to hear. And replaced him with someone who just decided to learn cyber coming with only a business degree. No experience in it but did work at one of baich's old companies.

Total nepotism.

That's why he has no concept of how to protect an internet company or any company for that matter. Many of his cronies he's hiring from Wells Fargo and AIG are similarly inept. Many similarly transitioned from business degrees.
