Wonder if Chevron is hiring good talent folks or just bunch of losers who have nowhere to go.

it’s interesting how the west has to be in the office because it’s impossible to work remotely but india gets to work on stuff happening on sites completely outside of their entire country
@jf I have talked to people who interviewed applicants and the interviewers told me >90% of the people hired only stay at a company for 2 or 3 years then they move on to another company for higher wages.
I have generally been impressed with the folks I have worked with. Much better than I expected. I fully expect most of them to find a higher paying job within 2 years.
@b2 I would love to do expat and make money. Do you know one ?
Out of curiosity, do we still recruit Indians and support millions in Visas? Or do they get referred to the call centers now back home when they graduate? Seems unfair if we allow some to come here on Visas while others need to stay home …
