I stayed quiet because I didn’t want to rock the boat when someone else took credit for my work, and that silence ended up costing me. That person got promoted, and I was left feeling like an id--t for not speaking up when it mattered. Learn from my mistake and don’t let it slide the way I did.

We work for an employer that routinely downsizes top performers. In that environment, who even cares about getting credit for anything? We're all getting downsized of term'd. The only thing we can do at this point is try to protect our severance.
Always do a cr-p job. Nobody will want to steal credit :)
