Corruption in every corner at FAB28
New CEO and executives corrupted the company from more than 100K people down to 75K people so the money can flow back into their own pockets
It’s still as corrupt! Started in the 2000s with the rubbish BOD, many CEOs, executives, re--rded and corrupt manufacturing leaders and finally we have LBT! The guy is in no way capable of becoming a CEO! He will keep taking credit of all PGs work and leave when there are no more credits left to take!
Is this counted as corruption OP ?

Corruption goes back to the 90s when the BOD authorized 100 billion in stock buybacks.
Xscale processor: Cut
GPU: Cut
Marvell : spun off, now a major competitor
Altera: Sold
Flash Memory: Sold to Hynix
None of these cuts should have happened without cutting the stock buybacks.
Intel has faced several fraud cases involving its executives, notably the insider trading case of Rajiv Goel, who provided nonpublic information to a hedge fund manager, leading to significant illegal profits. More recently, a fraud scheme was uncovered involving a former employee and a supplier, resulting in the embezzlement of over $840,000 through procurement manipulation.

Rajiv Goel's Insider Trading
Background: Rajiv Goel, a former executive at Intel, was involved in a significant insider trading scheme with Raj Rajaratnam of the Galleon Group.
Details:
Goel provided nonpublic information about Intel's earnings to Rajaratnam, who then profited from trading Intel stocks. This occurred between 2007 and 2009.
Consequences: Goel was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay fines and forfeitures totaling over $276,000. Rajaratnam received an 11-year prison sentence for his role.
Recent Fraud Scheme in Israel
Allegations: In May 2025, Intel Israel uncovered a fraud scheme involving former employee Natalia Avtsin and supplier Yafim Tsibolevsky, amounting to over $840,000.
Method: Avtsin allegedly altered purchase classifications from "components" to "services" to bypass verification processes, allowing Tsibolevsky to submit invoices without scrutiny.
Impact: The fraud went undetected for over a year, highlighting weaknesses in Intel's procurement oversight.
Intel has faced allegations of corruption, particularly highlighted by a recent procurement fraud case in Israel where an employee and a supplier allegedly stole around $842,000 through fraudulent transactions. This incident raises concerns about oversight and internal controls within the company.
Recent Corruption Cases Involving Intel
Procurement Fraud in Intel Israel
A significant procurement fraud case has emerged from Intel's operations in Israel. A former employee, Natalia Avtsin, allegedly collaborated with a supplier to steal approximately $842,000. The scheme involved misclassifying hardware transactions as services to bypass standard verification processes. This fraud went undetected for nearly a year due to lax oversight and loopholes in the approval system.
Implications of U.S. Government Ownership
The Trump Administration's recent acquisition of a 10% stake in Intel raises concerns about potential corruption. Critics argue that government ownership could lead to conflicts of interest and influence over corporate decisions. This situation may blur the lines between private enterprise and government operations, complicating compliance with anti-corruption laws.
Broader Concerns
The intertwining of government and corporate interests, as seen with Intel, poses risks for corruption compliance globally. If U.S. businesses become perceived as extensions of the government, it could lead to increased scrutiny under various international anti-bribery statutes. This shift may affect how companies operate and interact with foreign suppliers, raising questions about accountability and ethical practices.

Obviously is began with BK on a large scale.
Easy .. Andy Grove .. everyone knows that.
The company began self-destructing years ago, and it was incredibly painful to watch for those of us that loved the company and our jobs.
It started long time ago.... first it was small, it was the nepotism and the favoritism of managers, as people "grew" so did the corruption. Today with what we are seeing from ELT is just a decision to not hide it anymore.
I am not sure when the corruption started but I think the people that re-hired Pat back to destroy it or the people that fired him. I am not sure who they are and if those people are still around at Intel to steal money.
Look at who owns all the worthless companies Intel paid billions for.
It's a personality type. Easy to spot. Look at the parking lot. If you see a luxury car, that's where it begins.
How deep is it? how far does it go? Where does it begin? Your Intel manager. If your an Intel manager...You.
I don't believe OP isn't the first person.
Ahh... The number of issues with chips overheating, etc. the last decade might suggest corruption was prevalent for a long time.
"Intel" as people refer to it no longer exists. You're referring to a company who used to design and manufacture its own leading edge chips. The name may be the same but with the money pigs running the show today it don't even resemble Intel.
