Give employees the gift of better focus

https://blogs.opentext.com/tis-the-season-to-simplify-work-5-ways-ai-helps-teams-wrap-up-the-year-smarter/

  1. Give employees the gift of better focus

Perhaps the most meaningful impact of AI content management is how it changes the employee experience.

By automating repetitive work and simplifying content discovery, teams can focus on higher-value tasks, such as strategy, innovation, and customer experience. It’s a lasting gift: fewer silos, faster collaboration, and a renewed sense of control over information.

This is better than the jelly of the month club, since this is the gift that keeps giving forever, not just the whole year.

@tb there are Navigator rewards, but I’m sure those will go away soon. And my guess is that the company will stop hiring in the US completely.

@by Over the years, it has become clear that this company offers virtually nothing to its employees, not even a simple coffee voucher. Expecting basic perks like occasional lunches or dinners is unrealistic. The management consistently prioritizes squeezing the maximum output from employees while giving nothing in return. The environment has become increasingly toxic and demoralizing, and without exaggeration, this is the most poorly run company I have ever encountered.

The fact that OT will have special discounts for employees was a clear giveaway that it was a phishing test email.

@d2 That's even worse at this time of year. Let's put a kn--e in the employees saying 'it's just a joke'.

@cn I thought that discount email was a phishing test email.

Lets put out an email, talking about discounts that are worse than you can just get coming in off the street to these places and to boot, let's put out the email after most people have completed their shopping. Biggest Losers.... OT execs and board.

@OP Gotta love the PR folks - there ARE no gifts at OT.

Unless you're in Waterloo you barely get a holiday pizza party. Your gift is your salary, which can (and likely is) revoked at any time they want to lay you off.
