Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

JAX, ORL,TPA, MIA HUBS ?

Do we see any locations in Florida as hubs. I am in Orlando and looking around at other locations and trying to understand if I am in a hub here in Orlando

@jn So when do we have to move

I believe that "Follow Fhe Work" is over, now they are just reducing headcount and rehiring in the new location if they find that they made a mistake.

Dallas is the only safe hub. The rest are until they are not.

F—K AT&T!! Chicago was a hub until it wasn’t. Ulterior motives. That’s all there is to it.

Just get out while you can. They will change the rules daily. They don’t give a rats a-s about any of you unless you are in the c suite su-king koolaide or something

It depends on your organization, your occupancy indicator and whatever your VP decides to enforce or ignore.

People should stop using the word “hub”.

It has become meaningless.

The only thing that matters if you’re hoping to stay in a certain location, is whether or not you have any executives with enough juice that also want to be or stay in that location.

The Miami center 600 NW 79th Ave. is being renovated I could see it turning into the Florida Hub.

What is called a hub depends on what locations higher ups want to visit or eventually move to; not who's currently there or what is done there.

Do as we want, not as we say.

Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville are the 3 KNL locations in Florida.

CRE is looking to sell off T owned buildings, a big one is at Research Parkway in Orlando. When that happens, job relocations will be to Dallas; makes no sense to incur costs to relocate ee's to other spaces in Orl when the goal is to reduce footprint. Research Parkway is mostly a call center where jobs can easily be offshored and the property is nicely located in the footprint of larger companies, like Homeland Security, Lookheed Martin, UCF and many more. Wouldn't be on my pick list!

Southfield Michigan. Hiring bargained for off the street. New group with 100 people hired in last year. Over $2 million invested into the campus in the last year. God is Good!!
