Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

@fq I'm familiar with the fix you're referring to. Unless something major changes, it'll either be released with major shortcomings (falling well short of almost every major project milestone) or it will be at least another 3 years before it sees the light of day.

@cp - used to be that way with PBA also. Use more than ~20% and you get dinged. Companies shouldn't ding you for using benefits they offer.

It's also insane how Dell has no "pause/OOO" feature on any of our internal naughty lists. Maybe Maverick and Goose's son will fix it

In support our vacation days are counted against us on our performance evaluations as well. I took the last 3 weeks of December off, so I'll get chewed out at the beginning of January for not being compliant. Still worth it IMHO.

@be yes this is correct. Sales has metrics being measured per week. System does not know if we are off but will count against us if we don’t log in log reports etc… it’s pure bullsh!t!! Another way to use tools against us to fire us!

Senior leadership have 0 common sense which is the reason for most of Dell issues.

@at I think what he is saying is that if you are in a sales role and you are on leave the metrics arounds trip reports continue (that is the system can’t differentiate if you are on leave or not)

The same is true for SalesChat
