The last thread on the first page of this board was made 7 days ago, last post 6 days ago. Every other health insurer’s page? The last thread on the first page was made weeks or months ago. That’s because Optum is on purpose stressing you out and making you sick so they can pocket the money you should be paid and your only outlet, aside from vices or violence, is this board. And, they have been doing this for a very long time, thanks to their armies of lawyers. I mean, how far removed from humanity are these people; money is that important to you that nothing else matters? Cash rules everything around you? Dollar dollar bill y’all…

I asked a Sr. Leader about the layoffs scheduled on Nov 30th during a skip level meeting. The layoffs were denied at that time, the layoffs did take place as rumored.
I believe I have been targeted to get a 2 on my performance ranking. I have never gotten anything less than a 4/5 on my annual performance review during my many dedicated years with company (over 2 decades).
Confirmed. I went looking around after I saw this post and found this to be true.
This is one of the most active boards on the website. It made me realize just how bad this place is.

@c5 Not older people on here complaining. We are working. Optum does not owe any of you anything. Do your job, do extra if you can, keep growing your skills and always be prepared for plan B. And please keep this site pure to its meaning. Peace.
You have a good point lol if you want to see something really toxic, go into any medical coding group on Facebook and look up "Optum." Anyone who says something negative about their experiences with the company gets harassed by the gnomes they've got planted all over social media. It's really nasty.
What is this rant about?
