To all management, 1st level, 2nd level and beyond. If you have never done the job, not one tech respects you. You can learn as much as you want but you will never gain respect. This just happens to come from the Spokane area. Most real knowledgeable techs would agree.

L3 is the most screwed up part of the company.
Who says the techs are any better??? Especially the techs in Local. Level 3 was never able to remove the stench of Centurylink, Qwest and the union.
I DO! & we have proved it since y’all came onboard. & will continue to prove it day in & day out. Legacy Blue CO guys knew more than level 3 tier 3 support.
That’s fact.
The same way I respected those occupational employees that moved from job to job just to stay of being found out that they knew nothing, but claimed years and years of experience that the union protected.
Yes, lumen management loves the stench left over by storey and the rest of his incompetent executive team.
So the only thing left is the old Qwest with Addition of Nevada and Florida. Apparently they like the stench!

And the stench of Jeffrey Story and level 3 management will last for decades after they’ve grifted and bankrupted the company.
Managers and the Union arr equally awful, but the good techs are the ones that suffer.

They need to be fired like the twitter folks. Most do nothing all day but attend meetings. Never talk or communicate to their employees. Especially the Call Center managers in PA and FL.
The way this company thinks, they just shuffle Managers around that don't know their own teams job. It's quite amazing how some people hold their value and stay employed. I thought Managers were supposed to make their teams stronger ? Not at Lumen. Then when it comes review time, they pull out the SS and figure out who to keep and who to walk to the door based on Age, Color, S-x and pay. So toxic.
I hate to tell you this. They already lost our respect years ago.
