Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Could Honeywell management and board be working on a transformational deal? Elliott won't be quiet for long.

The silence in Honeywell is concerning. The more I think about what is coming next and seeing how much staff cuts are happening, a shrinkage is inevitable. There are only two paths that seem possible:

  1. HON LT and BoD already have some transformational M&A of some type of a mega merger or mega acquisition in the works to shape the new narrative, or
  2. Focus on the Aero split just like GE did and then handover Honeywell to a new CEO to drive the next phase of transformation to a different company.

What do these mean for staff? What else could happen next?

Elliott has been increasing their stack in Johnson Controls.

My prediction: Whittle down Honeywell to just IA/BA and then merge it with JC.

Oh my, how many times do I have to point out the obvious.....4 years I have stated it on here and people still don't get it despite the punch in the face evidence Honeywell is being asset stripped, it has been in motion since 2018!! Its ending, smell the coffee, only another 3 years to completion. A group if folks are getting obscenely wealthy from it.

That’s what they want you to think.

If anything, Honeywell would be sold to a company with track record of actually realizing synergies…which means holding our stock is smart but for the wrong reasons.
