With the stock tumbling i don't see any way around than laying off more

I'm getting ahead of this by moving to Nashville. Not to mention low housing costs, taxes and cost of living.
"How much longer do you think this will go on? 3 months? 6 months? A year?"
Seriously? Oracle has been doing regular RIFs for as far back as I can remember. So to answer your question, these RIFs are not going to end, ever.
Start of the end
I hope so. Time for layoffs to be over but maybe another round to go through. How much longer do you think this will go on? 3 months? 6 months? A year?
I guess we're all going to be moving to Nashville then. That is, if we want to continue receiving a paycheck. 😧
"The layoffs are due to bad financial decisions."
Nope! They are far more calculated to think that they are a mistake!
Layoffs are not a consequence, but the plan!
@bg All property is on the market, except some where OCI data centers will be build, like Broomfield building 7. Data Center builds are now the focus. Huge cost. LE swan song will be Nashville when it’s done in 2030. That project is a complete cluster, trust me I know. Peace and love.

@ab Dec 12 is the last day for CS. They're vacating the colorado springs building, denver will be next then all of Broomfield except building 7.
Yes, Tennessee as a whole is horrible. All Californians and H1Bs should avoid it if at all possible.
Austin or Frisco Texas is where you want to be, believe me. ;-)
We really sc--wed the pooch here by taking such a massive dump on our investors. Now all the poor employee schmucks in the trenches are going to have to pay again.
Yeah. Nashville. Pretty much all the new job postings are in Nashville. They are even paying relocation. Really? Cr-ppy airport. Cr-ppy state to lure people to. Clay is there, so that boondoggle will last as long as he does. Close Nashville before it really gets started. Save money. Ditch it now.
They probably won't do it, but they could sell their office buildings like they are doing in Colorado Springs. Not many driving in anyway, so they just sent everyone home and putting it up for sale. Look at the money they'd save in utilities, maintenance (cleaning/repairs), plowing the parking lot in the winter, cleaning up after hurricanes in the south, etc. Those are expenses they can cut without having to lay off.
Speaking of buildings... I'm wondering about their headquarters. They have that huge facility in Redwood Shores, then in Austin, then I hear they have headquarters in Nashville as well. How much are those costing? Are they needed? Seems to me they need the people way more than they need buildings.
