@Verizon has been a "Snakepit" for many years. The company's toxix work environment is well known both internally and in the external job market.

I worked at Verizon as well as At&t, T-Mobile/Sprint and Virgin Mobile with Verizon by far having had the worst working environment with constant stress & pressure, incessant office politics and backbiting.

Leaders are exposed when things are not easy. I always s sync to sports. Real easy forvwinning Coach to say great game but when you lose and compliment that shows leadership vzbd character.

To those remaining, put money away, which may mean putting off expensive vacations-opting for staycations, hold on major remodeling and save more in 401k, if you can. Put yourself in a place of confidence in your financial situation then if you are tapped to be part of the future wave you will have extra money.

Thats dramatic. Your performance isn’t even going to matter when the next wave comes. Su-king up and stepping on people won’t save you. They laid off TONS of high performing people and kept tons of people doing little to nothing. Its an algorithm, continue to do your job and upskill. Youre next
