RTO for other offices coming

I got softly notified that more RTO is coming for big offices like Cypress, CA. Similar context to MN and DC RTO and it will be in effect Feb or Mar 2026.

It won't work. It's an antiquated mode and will ultimately fail.

I have no issue with the RTO but I will be leaving my laptop in the Office during the work week and maybe bring it home on the weekends. Once I'm RTO there will be no more check up on emails, Teams etc after hours. If something comes up and they need me they will need to wait for me to drive into the office before an can assist more effectively seeing how they feel I'm not being effective at home. :)

Have heard the scope of MN and DC RTO is being expanded to an hour commute as well.

They want to return to profit growth with MA being gutted by current government and both parties being heavily skeptical of major insurers and PBMs. The only way to do that is cutting costs deeply. Anything to encourage us to quit.
