Dan said he won't use Slack. If my little green light isn't on I get an inquiry as to why not. Now I will just tell the bosses to go Slack themselves.

@e9 I call BS on you. We are expected to use it on our days in the office. We walk away from our desks to work with others and when we get back it goes into some kinda sleep mode. We then get questioned from someone God knows where about what happened.
If he doesn’t, why should any of the rest of us? You know. Follow his lead.
@e9 not true at all. Nobody cares and AI will report in the future
Slack is more for those people not in an office. Thats the way we know you are working online via slack.
@cs I think that was the point. People are looked at points in the day as to whether or not their green light is on. I know that I get wrapped up in projects or on long calls with customers and Slack goes to sleep. On my end nobody bothers me about that but others are questioned. You are interpreting this as someone trying to hide behind it when in fact we don't like being judged by it.
@OP - Lame question.
Slack is not ab app Senior Executives would use to communicate with their staff and other Executives.
He probably wants to keep an email trail. Smart.
That id--t can’t concentrate enough to use it. Fkng MO--N
@OP who cares
