Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

So that is why there is no salary raise

Because first we had to spend it on penalty.
Next year, because we had to spend it on restructuring.
Next year, because we were not done with restructuring yet.
Next year, because it was tough year.
Next year, because we need to restructure again.
This year, because we URGENTLY NEED A NEW LOGO and another AI bull...

This is comedy gold

I remember The Office episode, when they had only 2% annual salary raise. It was so funny, absurd and outrageous that company does not give a proper raise that it made its way to the sitcom. And now this is reality in DXC, no, it is even worse!

@192 There is nothing they or you can do to grow. This is a cut throat market. You bring nothing of value to it. Every new win comes at a loss. New business is unprofitable. Renewals are unprofitable. There is no upside. Only erosion. This isn’t a rough patch and it isn’t going to turn around. Wake up.

When you have people like Drumg and others below you, your never going to grow.

You need growth minded sales, customer, employee focused leaders. Not just managers who are going to repeat what Rarwool has told them in a meeting.

They have pi$$ed of the people who are delivering to the customers, and the customers are aware of whats going on.

DXC lose more business than they win, if only they paid employees properly things, would change.

@15z you have to remember this time they couldn't find a ceo. Nobody wanted the job.

So we had rool temporarily and then permanently...

Yes a good focused (and rool is obviously not focused as he has a dozen other money makers on the go) could probably turn dxc around... But it's a risky job. Your reputation will be shot away if you fail.

On the flip side, they offer such large money most people can not worry about having to work again.

The real shame is that a good time to have dxc in good shape is now. That's a once in twenty years chance. Squandered.

@15d what a dck 73% pay rise for delivering failure, can't even grow the company in the peak of an Technology bo-m.

The id--t sold off DXC datacenters when they can get hold of them fast enough.

This company has a habit of finding bandit CEO's, its so simple, if they don't show a turnaround after 12 months they arent going to, after 18 months there should be visible signs of turnover growth.

His been in 2 years and all we see is declines with no end in sight. He needs to be let go not given massive rises.

@ay : DXC Technology’s CEO Raul Fernandez received a 73% compensation increase to $16.7M in 2025, while DXC’s stock price has fallen by roughly 40–45% year-to-date compared to early 2025 levels.

No new CEO coming! He's the chairman of the board and all his buddies are our clients. He's going nowhere! So much more money for him to make

@a6 a team of incredibly hardworking individuals pulled off the impossible with that rebrand. This is home grown and it’s a thing of beauty.

@by first class? He used the corporate jet... The one that nobody will talk about.

First class would have been cheaper.

Linkedin

Today has been an exciting day in DXC Spain!

It is a pleasure to share again that our CEO and Global President, Raul Fernandez, has visited our headquarters in Las Rozas (Madrid) and held a great meeting with the entire #DXCTechnology team on a day marked by two important announcements:

🔸 Launch of AdvisoryX, our new global advisory and consulting unit designed to help companies address their most complex challenges related to #IA adoption.

🔸 Our new visual brand identity, designed to reflect our strategic approach to AI, greater simplicity and modern, unified style.

During his visit, Raul Fernandez, together with Alfonso Garcia Muriel and Juan Parra, shared his vision for the future of the company and how innovation, driven by AI and our Xponential framework, will be the engine to lead our global growth and generate new opportunities to add value to our customers.

It was an honor for all of us to hear directly from your messages about the positive impact we are making together.

🧡 We thank Mr. Fernandez for the time he has dedicated to us, convinced that his visit not only strengthens our connection as a team, but also fills us with #inspiración and determination to achieve even more ambitious goals in the #futuro.

@ah I've still got my money on getting a new CEO for christmas again. I think they've pushed the christmas shutdown so they can fire fernandez over the holiday and nobody knows until we're all back at work in january.

OP - this exec crew will be gone by this time next year and we’ll be right back to the same circus all over again. That’s how the major shareholders keep everyone hooked. the moment people start getting restless again the execs will be swapped out like the last batch. People stick around because every time there’s a shake-up, they convince themselves this time change is finally coming. The whole point is different, it is to squeeze a little more useful life out of the company so they can sell off the pieces for more than the market says they’re worth. You’re angry at the wrong people. The execs don’t work for you. They’re puppets. Here today, gone tomorrow.

Op forgot to mention us Execs, we milk the company for every $ we can swindle, we can't even deliver 1 quarter of growth in 7 years but we make sure we get our millions, and we get it from your hard work.

Thats what you call good management, living the dream we fill our bank accounts no problem every year without fail and you guys can't say anything.Thats power thats reaching the top.
