My dept. And store leadership needs to be fired. They never want to fix anything. And always dump the blame on employees. Except if it's their friends or family. se region.
@1hw for now. Algorithms learn quick
@dk calling bs on this one. So many things have to be scanned manually, the tool only thinks one day ahead and ignores sale changes, and on-hand numbers need constant verification. Sure, you can batch order sometimes, but not sustainably.
Not making this up, it’s listed in the order writer training document in inkling. See for yourself.
Amazon\WFM are so ethical they would fill a role knowing it was possibly being cut to avoid suspicion from current TMs.
You all are silly. I just had a TL apply for a transfer to another city in our OA and am posting for a TL position. All of this post is news to me.
TL could be getting less responsibilities since ASTL is over seeing multiple teams now. Purely speculation no rumor I have heard but I would not be surprised. Always the same rumors all the time on this site and none of them ever seem to come true like Buyers go away, SSS being cut blah blah blah.
GroceryDouche commenting irrelevant rumors again.
Pi-s off, ya bellend.
Astls are getting trained on how to run depts. so no. TLs yes they will step dwn or change their title.
ASTL seems unlikely they just gave them responsibilities over the product teams also GruceryGronk chugs c-m
Whole Favoritism Market needs to get rid of the managers who hire and play favorites. Everyone should be treated equally.
No severance for SSS
AI is going to phase out a ton of jobs here this is only the beginning
Order Writers are on the chopping block as well. With InStock, any id--t can scan a product and hit "add to cart" if InStock suggests it. He-l, they don't even have to scan products anymore. You're able to just sleep all suggested and add to cart and send and bo-m your store order that used to take a few hours is done in under 5 mins.
Amazon wants to get rid these higher paying in-store leadership positions and set up a hierarchy more like traditional grocery stores. They plan on merging the TL & ASTL position into a whole new position by consolidating several teams/departments under one leader that will report to STL. Instead of 9-10 departmental team leaders, there will be one leader for 2-3 teams, and eventually one leader for 3-5 teams, until just one STL and 2-3 of this new position are left, depending on store sales. It's the same playbook as when WFM went from one in-store PBS, to a TMSG with 2-4 stores, to a TMSBP with 5-7 stores, and next year TMSBP will become a handful or two of Amazon HR reps handling all the stores. To prep for this transition, they will stop back filling TL jobs as the positions are vacated, PIP's will be issued, and they will bully TL and ASTL’s until they stress quit. Bullying people to stress quit is the preferred amazon attrition method. No severance, and no unemployment. Getting the TMs to hate on their leaders by cutting hours right before the holidays was a cunning way to making the TL's dread coming to their jobs even more than they already do, all the while making the numbers look good. Overall, very few if any will get offered severance, as those left after this "natural" attrition will be offered the “similar or equivalent position”. Those who don’t take the new position will be considered voluntary resignations. After this ASTL/TL restructure, the ATL/supervisor consolidation is next. In the meantime, more AI functions will continue to roll out as will outsourcing what they can to third parties and the left over dregs will be given as tasks to lower level team members, like how team trainer is specialized Level 1 position but still a level one position and so on.....
Yay! We get severance! Finally, we’ve been holding off till this day comes. All ASTLs will gladly accept the severance. None will take TL roles.
And the tl.
Good tell them to take the SSS with them
