Thread regarding SEI Investments Co. layoffs

Layoffs 12/5/25 mostly upper level but key employees. Shocking. CEO runs the company without input from business units.

I was laid off after 20 years. Along with countless other 20 year alum members. Loyalty means nothing to SEI. I wasn't even given an explanation. Their 'severance' package has also suffered. They used to give you 2 weeks paid for every year you worked, now its 1 week. Meanwhile the CEO Ryan Hicke and executive leaders (Dave Langdale) stuff their pockets with fatter salaries, higher bonus's and celebrate profits. Je-ks. All of them. Dave Langdale is the biggest liar of all. He told me to my face, multiple times "We don't layoff'. Karma Dave. Karma. You reap what you sow. If you work at SEI - might want to look for something else and get away before they take you out like garbage. Don't think it won't happen to you. I hope that company crumbles. It went to sh-t after Al West retired.

Laid off without notice. Thirteen years’ service. Good to see consistency isn’t everything.

While acknowledging the decision to lay off key resources, it is noteworthy that the company chose to lay off several long-tenured associates, particularly considering that the current CEO rose through the organization beginning as an associate. I am selling all my stock.

Yes, correct - laid off on 12/5/25 from a management position. Not that it was unexpected, signs were on the wall but we had so much work, and short staffed and now this. How’s management making decision is beyond my understanding.
