Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Who else is getting hit?

What about us lowly folks? Any idea which teams are at risk?
If you’ve heard anything, please share.

Maybe you can talk with the union organizer dudes coming in to Bellevue on December 11th. I'm sure union organizing after being laid off will keep you your job.

We are all at risk. It will continue like this for quite awhile, it’s the new normal and it is very intentional.

When leadership is intentionally opaque about layoffs and organizational changes, it creates a culture of fear, erodes trust, and damages psychological safety, leaving employees anxious, disengaged, and focused on self-preservation rather than performance. This lack of transparency isn’t just poor communication—it’s a deliberate control mechanism that silences voices, undermines dignity, and drives high performers to quietly disengage or leave. The result is decreased morale, weakened collaboration, higher turnover, and long-term cultural and reputational harm, forcing employees to prioritize their own stability and career protection over loyalty to the organization.
