TSRs in the Uk affected anytime soon?
Best time to do it is now. No one is paying attention, not on the Radar. Ho Ho Ho!
@fm don't forget July, I got hit then amonst others in ISG. I think any month that has at least 28 days is a candidate for a layoff.
@fm
that is Dell's Motto.
idk, I doubt much - if any - till at least mid February but who knows... Dell lays off daily. Historically their "big" layoff seasons are Mid Feb to early March, then again in September or August..
Dell's moto should be "Underpaid, overworked and no job security!"
yes, before February- more than usual.
@an What group?
Re: OKC. If they were serious about RTO, they should be adding more offices, not closing them down. There are certain metros with a large employee base that used to have an office, and are now stranded to remote. Their words vs. their actions show they are disingenuous, but I don’t believe anything coming out of the mouths of MD or JC at this point.
Just the beginning of more layoffs.
RR has ~14k heads, they want that number cut in half. Hearing OKC will be offered the option to relocate to RR as OKC will close. If relocate is not an option for you, thank you for your service.
5 people were laid off this past week in my group so yes
Why do people ask this question? Seriously, I’m curious. Please let me know. I could be misunderstanding context of your question, however, so apologies for that.
You can expect layoffs to happen all the time at any time of the year. But layoffs are more obvious from November to January and from May to August. Maybe that’s what you were asking.
90k target is not reached so they will do major sweep in upcoming weeks before they close the quarter
Dell might wait until the day after Xmas
