@2g4 Wow if ever there was no point made. Point to where I said start a service business along the lines of the company your work for now. Love the way you deflect.

@2gd Well now "The poster who says “start your own business” obviously can’t or won’t do so themselves. They don’t see a problem with people getting let go one week before Christmas. They want people to quit so they don’t have to pay severance. They get an actual bonus - not the $0.10 worth of “swag” sent to employees who actually do the work. Now…. Just who might that be??" Ever hear of at will employment when you signed up buddy. Get over yourself. Again, find another job if your skill set is so great. The problem is many of the "Techs" think too highly of themselves. What do you run 2 /3 CPD. utilization rate? inventory loss. Call backs. Customer complaints. So yeah, keep pretending. BTW what's the name of your company you can't or won't start.

Love the person that says start your own business?

You must be blind, both of these companies have less and less to sell and maintain every day, both industries have run their path.

Why would anyone want to invest in retail or ATM, less people shop at stores, and less people use cash……….. and it will continue to decline

@2e8 Well start your own business or is that a voyage you don't want to book passage. on? Chart your own course.

@2cj Enjoy your “voyage”. Tune up your ho-n and play a merry tune. If you happen to be at the helm, pay attention, learn from history and make the right course correction before it’s too late. Throwing people overboard isn’t the answer to problems created by lack of strategic vision

Product leadership is ki-ling the company with their pathettic decisions. If we have to see a turn around we need to layoff the product leadership people. Because of them company is loosing so many good people.

No product management means no vision for growth of products or services. Voyix was supposed to be about the “voyage” towards profitable growth. Atleos seems to be doing well but the voyage looks more and more like Titanic. Bad leadership, leadership not at the helm at the most critical time, not respecting/understanding the environment (technology), not having the right tools available for the crew, and most importantly, not providing adequately for the passengers (customers) and crew (employees). Past and current leadership had or have lifeboats but no one else does. Past as prologue people…..

if u work in parts of product management and survive end of year your gonna return to no leadership in jan. not sure if good or bad. sounds like theyre finally cutting the head off the snake.

Wow really a new low. The optics of laying people off one week before year end are awful. Congratulations leadership team and Human Resources executives. You may find yourselves working the holidays soon when you have no one else left to lay off…..if you’re looking for a corporate buyer do you really think this is an impressive move? Have you not figured you aren’t solving anything by slashing blindly at numbers on your spreadsheets? Get to know your employees (not just in other countries). That’s what Leadership and Human Resources are supposed to be about, or did they not teach that in the college you attended?

Atleos CEO outlook for 2026 is saying heavy investment in AI. Which means looking to reduce human workforce for increased profits.

Monday 12/22 doesn’t seem likely. The people needed for the layoffs are probably already off the rest of the year. HR in particular… not that either company has an HR team to speak of anyway……

Happy 2026 folks! Perhaps a company with technical vision and real leadership will acquire one or both companies and do a proper spring cleaning. Until then, don’t look for any improvement in the same corporate culture rebranded with new paint jobs and names derived from nascent AI at best or id--ts at worst.

If layoffs were to happen in December then they have likely already happened on Thursday. Otherwise the persons doing the layoffs might have to work during the holidays…. Does anyone see that happening?

If they cared a midge they would lay you off the first of the month so you would still get health insurance for the month.

absolutely not true... This is OLD information. They stopped doing 401K match at the end of the end year, YEARS ago. They match per paycheck. No layoffs in December. Please be sure to follow back up 12/31.

No rumor. I’ve heard the same. Layoffs are coming this month.

If you're gone by the first of the year, they don't have to pay your 401k match.
Same reason they do another round in the spring right before aspire is released - if you're not there, they don't owe you extra money.

Why the he-l do they do this the week of Christmas? I truly hate the people that run this company and would push them in front of a train if given the chance.
