Found out today via a last minute all staff meeting the LA plan will cease operations on 12/31/25. Did not get contract renewal.

I work with LA Medicaid so have been following this closely. Apparently law makers met yesterday and the governor has decided to give a 90 day extension while they negotiate. The news came out pretty late in the afternoon yesterday so not sure what all it means. Hopefully will find out more today. I know at least for us, they were going to move us to new positions.

Yeah, UHC got a lit of bad press recently. Tho’ I bet it has to do more w/ the incompetents & ignoramuses who “lead” state guvmint. Couldn’t handle the volume of work that needed to be monitored.
@OP I use to work there. Found out about it last night. That’s what happens when the health plan doesn’t follow the contract.
