Been with WF for a looooong time. And I have to say, this is the worst nepotism I've ever seen. Its true. And for those of us who have been around as long as I, we might have gotten one or two back in the day. Soon, they were acclimated to WF and we, the worker bees, never really saw a difference.
Now? Holy cow, they move in, fire existing technical staff, bring in their buddies and replace everyone over a period of time.
I liken it to locusts...they move as a group, strip the ground bare of anything good, then move on to the next green pasture.

"cronyism" has less cachet than "nepotism". Bet most won't even know what cronyism is. So, its all nepotism....!
I thinks a lot of people on this board conflate cronyism for nepotism. They just use nepotism as a “generality”.
Need to include pre-existing to HY mgrs who are sacrificing anyone they are not friends with to take some heat off them. Ruthless evil people. Watch out because it happened to me this week. There is too much power in the hands of mgr. It was not like that until HY gang. My former mgr is a "little man" threatened by older, more talented and more educated employees. No one is asking why would a 17 yr employee who has received strong performance and promotion history is now "needs improvement" on a subjective weakly written performance evalutation or corrective actions written the same. When I managed a team HR prevented mgr from firing employees for performance. It was a fail on the mgr to have someone struggle. Fake performance evaluations did not happen.
Where is the nepotism in your rant? Be more specific .

Looks like they were talking about the tech division, but apparently you are very defensive of someone who didn’t deserve a job in Long Island.
Is the big reveal here going to be a segue into something about the Long Island Market Manager?
