Rivian is converting a temporary furlough of production staff at its Illinois plant into permanent layoffs for 450 workers. The EV truck maker cited supply chain constraints and a strategic shift to prioritize the production of its newer, lower-cost R2 platform.

@kyx we could always put a camera in the rooms of the customers and intercept their traffic and mess with them online. like post about their movements online, and then end it off sarcastically with a "buy rivian now!" and then if they start trying to ask what's going on, call them mentally ill or something. oh and hack their phone. oh and hack their dads phone.
Also helps to have a product people actually want...
Rivian does not have a clear path to profitability. You cannot cut your way to be profit.
