I joined the company in July so only works for a few months when I got laid off on November 20. Part of my offer was 30k RSUs. So I can expect to receive this full amount? It won’t be prorated?
Is that 15,000 shares or $15,000 dollar value (which is several hundred shares)?
@dv They copied it word for word from the severance FAQ section conveniently titled 'RSUs and PSUs'.
Which, I understand, is a super well hidden place to put it.
My god people, learn to read.
I want to defend the original poster as I have researched this thoroughly. The Severance Package (and FAQ) document does NOT address UNVESTED RSUs very well at all. That would include those planned for VESTING in 2027 and 2028 (which were from 2025).
I sure hope @bd+1kbjezq61is correct in their post and I would like to know what document he/she found that it. The Stock Together Verizon page describes what happens if you are involuntarily separated and have UNVESTED RSUs. It indicates they are prorated thru your employment term (you get only a portion of the 2025 Grant) and the rest is forfeited.
@OP sure glad you were let go, can't read all of the information given to you.
Verizon will be stronger without this dead weight.
@ag Since actually reading is apparently too difficult, I'll give you the short version first: If you sign a severance document, yes. All 2023, 2024, and 2025 RSUs will vest.
"If you have outstanding RSU awards under the Verizon Stock Together program and have
a valid Severance Agreement and Release, any outstanding Verizon RSUs that you were
granted in 2023, 2024 and 2025 will vest in full (regardless of whether you have attained
retirement eligibility). The net proceeds will be deposited into your Fidelity brokerage
account within 60-90 days after your last day."
@OP another person that needed hand holding
@a2 ALL OF THEM!?!?!?!
If you bothered to read the severance paperwork you would have seen that all of our RSUs will vest when we separate.
