Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

If there’s any layoffs to be had, start with HR.

Those jokers just loved to deliver the matter of factly snarky message of “this is what’s best for Citi, we have to let you go” with such a smug look on their face. It’s time to replace those guys with AI. If there’s any test bed low hanging fruit group of people to run off, it’d be them. Trim the limbs off of that tree.

What use are they anyway. They don’t do anything but pass out busted links and direct you to a FAQ page that does not answer your questions. Let those guys go.

HR takes care of management, not employees. It’s open secret.

@py

It's acceptable to wish AI on Citi HR and Executive "Management".

When they're useless drones anyway who are overpaid brick walls, delay Severance packages, delay direct deposit payroll, are unable to answer HR questions or give wrong answers in the "Ticket Cases" WORKDAY Platform, etc., they may as well be replaced by AI or actual brick walls.

Sorry but this is a step too far. AI is not something to wish on any living human being.

I can’t think of a more useless group TBH.

I had heard that some of the layoffs were actually in HR. I don't think any group is exempt especially where AI can be applies to reduce costs. It's only a matter of time until every section of the bank is getting RIFd from AI.
