More stores going away

Heard over 300 more stores will be sold off to agents in the coming year. Polish your resume and get out while you can. They'll either pip you out with these high quotas or you'll be working for an agent.

Hate to say it but stores are useless nowadays. I see stores with 5-6 employees in them with no 0-1 customers. Most people customers are elderly people looking for help with a phone issue. Sell all the stores!

@d5 Indirect stores are much worse, routinely making promises they can't keep and then blaming corporate to the customer. I have seen new, untrained reps thrown into a store by themselves and then given a "support number" to call to have them walked through transactions.

Indirect is not scary. Just hope it’s BeMobile that comes to your doors and not cellular sales, etc.

@br T-Mobile is trying to ki-l their franchises. They want to go majority corporate owned and have fewer stores.

@d3 and do you think Indirect Stores will be any better? Or worse?

I say good riddance. The stores never were really a part of VZ anyway. They were always staffed with shiftless sales-people looking to slam someone's grandparents or sell them needless cr#p. They made it embarrassing to tell people you worked for VZ.

If you look at how all of the new districts are aligned, some have way more stores than others. This is not normal as it probably indicated stores in those extra large districts are going to be cut.

They've been wanting to sell the stores even before COVID. Brick and mortor is expensive. The issue is the contracts with the "Big Six". They need revised and to do that the old ones must expire.

TMobile does it with non-corp stores.... then so can we! We are awesome at following! Leading, not so much.
