5-Day RTO: Requirement for Working Remotely

Can someone please explain two (2) things…
(1) What requirement(s) must be met to work remotely?
(2) Why the heck hasn’t it been published on “The Source”?

Is Truist hiding something by NOT publicizing OR being transparent about the requirement(s)? It’s a really simple question! It baffles me that HR & Truist Execs have deliberately chosen to complicate and/or avoid the answer. Why isn’t this basic question included in the FAQs?!?!

All….dont go by the random pages on the internal site. The ONLY valid HR policies are approved by multiple levels of management and published in ppm (policy.truist.com). HR has been updating and creating new policies faster than the IT audit findings needing immediate action.

The In-Office expectations FAQ on The Source is pretty clear. All remote teammates will eventually shift to office based if: 1) there is an available seat near their home and 2) they do not have an accommodation through HR. They're not going to list all the various health conditions and other reasons why an accommodation may be approved.

The most recent source article/faq calls out the care.com benefits to help people out. But then another article came out saying they are cutting all of those resources in half. Classic Truist.

Do you want to make AVP or not? If you do, just go into the office 5 days a week like Bill says and if you are good little teammate you may even get rewarded with a 3% raise next year.

Big Brain Bill spent all that cash for the naming rights to the second tallest building in Charlotte but there isn't enough space to accommodate RTO.

@b9 100% agree. EL loves to play favorites. HR was most likely advised by legal not to post the rules.

Simple, they're keeping the requirements vague intentionally so that they can pick and choose who the rules apply to. if you don't already know that you're exempt, then you can assume you're going back into the office with the rest of us peasants.
