I'm trying to make sense of the mixed messages and bringing in another industry CIO like Paula Krantz in our current climate. The leadership of this company seems to burns money on shiny new hires but layoffs and hardly cost living raises are the table scraps fr the rest of us who put in the years building the backbone of the company. I know a couple people in another department who left for better pay at SSM and Express scripts. It is probably time to clean up the resume which is unfortunate.

@p2 Paula Kranz-Broadwell tie-in to top military brass and 5star gen Petraeus. Wolf is sheep’s clothing. Now inside innovation leader? You connect the dots.
@1cg Yeah, I’ve kinda noticed that too. I sure hope no one files a complaint with Trump’s EEOC. It would be a real shame if that happened. And we just know he’s going to be looking for a “woke” insurance company to target once people’s premiums double. Such a shame.
@ad I, too, have noticed racial discrimination for multiple years here at Centene in a couple departments. I expressed this to leadership and a supervisor but was informed not to go to HR as HR will only protect the company. The lead is now a sup and the sup was laid off. The ratio of white to non white is less than 10% with favoritism, different expectations being biased.
d9/nw, I'm giving you upvotes but frankly, I have no idea WTF you're ultimately getting at.
I assume this is in reference to Executive Order 13813? Is the implication that we're attempting to offer national plans instead of our largely state-specific model?
How does she tie in it?
@nw Someone is off their meds 😂
Find a conspiracy friend, study Executive Orders (back to 2017), research “Q” clearance and connect the dots. “They” are embedded everywhere and taking notes on who’s been naughty and nice. They are making a list and checking it twice. If you are ethical and following laws and order (compliance/ ethics), then you have nothing to fear. Cleaning house, well done. 45-47 (it’s a dash, aka continuation not “and”).
@OP not sure about shiny new hire or why ms. Kranz would leave a cushy CIO job for this place to be an innovation scout. Not for certain but we think they may left off her most interesting experience with a former general. No judgement here as you gotta do what you gotta do. But I agree with your point that this place paying for the constant turnover of expensive high dollar executives at the expense of the rest of us isn't the right path.
Not sure I would want to draw the attention and subsequent ire of the Executive Branch. Daddy’s home and DEI died. Might want to factor that into further hiring decisions. Unless getting on the business end of a midnight social media post is anyone’s idea of a good business strategy
@ad I think she works for a newly hired white guy
@OP The only question I have is does Centene ever hire a white guy? Seems like they are an endangered species since the death of Michael.
