Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Can somebody explain this?

I noticed that some of the people who were laid off ended up with different end dates, and I'm confused about how that works or what the reason behind it might be.

Verizon's norm is 30 days after notification. some states have WARN acts, but it would also depend if we met the requirement for the WARN (ie, we have more than 100 ppl employed in nj and 50+ ppl in NJ were notified so that means 90 days = 2/19 date)

Example. FL -30 days. 12/19
NJ-90 days 2/19
