North Slope unionizing

I am typically not a fans of unions, but I think it’s pretty hilarious if the North Slope field staff unionizes in response to the continued incompetence and favoritism displayed by company leadership.

Right, especially since management obviously (illegally) targeted great employees talking unionization a few months ago.

@12t might I suggest that you conduct a colonoscopy while you’re up there in your Boss’s a-s?

@12t clearly you have no clue what’s been going on up on the slope. Might I suggest you not comment, if you lack the awareness. Thanks.

Unions are great in a situation where management takes advantage of employees. This is not the case in the oil industry. The pay is great and they don’t abuse employees.

Folks intuitively realize that unions’ bureaucracy takes your money and does not help you, but vote for unions when management is horrific. Good management means no Union.

Amen. Reagonomics ki-led unions and the middle class has been shrinking since. This is capitalism without checks and balances.
