Apparently, many Underperforming BUs facing stealth layoffs. Can others confirm it?

@pk I'm genuinely curious aboit how you people know so much about other BUs in this way. Outshift already took a big hit and has just 220 people and will probably not be affected in the next few quarters.
Core Networking is carrying the stock.
Cisco's networking has been losing market share for ages. Perhaps four obscenely broken operating systems which aren't just inconsistent from OS to OS or box to box but from card to card in the same box isn't the right strategy.
If Cisco divested all other businesses it would easily hit 200/share
Cisco's P/E is already stupid high for what the company is. Significantly cutting revenue and earnings while the stock price is multiplied by more than 2.5 seems unlikely.
When will Outshift be hit?
"If I had to guess, this is probably the result of the new CFO. Previous CFO was probably okay with giving SBG the benefit of the doubt, but new guy wants results."
SBG's results are nothing but endless powerpoint slides that no one understands and heavy processes that no one follows. This is how leadership creates busy useless work for themselves and the organization.
who are the incompetents in SBG?
@dv - probably easier to list who isn’t
@cw who are the incompetents in SBG?
In CX?
@b8 - There is no hope for SBG with current incompetent leadership. Cisco should close down SBG.
everywhere! except G2's top-heavy CPO Office. So many SVPs, VPs Strategy, Biz Dev, Planning- it is a tragedy. He has built is the most under-performing org ever seen!
At Splunk, we’ve laid off everyone on PIPs the last 2 quarters
@c0 I'm very sure you are the same person mentioning Outshift on every post. Are you a current or previous outshift member?
OutShïttng their pant right now
I can't speak to layoffs but in my corner of SBG there has been a definite vibe shift. Previously, director-level folks would be mostly silent, just chiming in every few weeks with a boring, useless status update. Now we have some new leadership and I am hearing the drum beat much louder.
If I had to guess, this is probably the result of the new CFO. Previous CFO was probably okay with giving SBG the benefit of the doubt, but new guy wants results. Seems fair, SBG is over a decade old now and should have been printing money like the rest of the security industry.
wait...Cisco is managing its business?
