Shall we read between the lines or take some guesses aftet today's communication?

@tp Yes, I can confirm Customer Service, OM, and, most recently, Contracts all have contractors. I am certain that SK will discuss layoffs behind closed doors in Burlington on Tuesday 12/16.
I expect mass layoffs. They want to know what everyone does, that’s always a guaranteed sign that you will be laid off.
Sounds like management couldn't find their rear ends, with both hands, in the dark on a good night.
Cryptic and crickets! A message with that content should have meeting to translate. Between the lines seems like a holiday massacre of employees!
Folks. DS under PK and DV are very dangerous people. PK’ little Minions DV, JM and her MSU group are so dangerous, not having a prospect on the markets. MSU should be ashamed of themselves and the failure they have caused in the past 17 months. Without marketing how is the DS Team going to be successful.
And to mention many positions in the company (Contracts, OM, and probably other depts) are being outsourced to the Philippines. The writing is on the wall.
@a1 Patina? Customers won’t get that linguistic sophistication from their new dealer rep!
They literally created a sales support secretary department a year and a half ago, and sales is still complaining! It’s funny how only a small percentage of sales utilizes this department.
As I have said in the past, the Japanese have a plan and it doesn’t include you. They are done with sales.
They have given you no support and frankly are already doing what they can to shift business to the dealerships.
We are all su-kers for thinking this company cares about us. If they cared, you would would never be reading these posts on this forum.
I wonder if DV will get axed in this move… He is not a very motivating leader.
@a5 “The same person will now run direct sales and the dealer channel.” Direct sales will go to/work for dealers? What a terrible horrific idea. I hope this isn’t true.
@a5 exactly!!!!! It's a chess move
Moving the sales unit under that channel will be an easy way to reduce the direct force in big chucks quickly. The same person will now run direct sales and the dealer channel
It’s December, and they are still figuring out what’s next. As we’ve seen in the past, decisions will likely be made quickly, without much knowledge or logic—just random choices and moving people around. It will be interesting to watch and see who is moving to new positions, especially if incompetent individuals are promoted to higher roles. There are a lot of closed-door meetings happening today!
Just more useless reshuffling of departments / acronyms to give off the patina that they are doing something brilliant to grow the business, when in reality it will do absolutely nothing. Same ineffective people in charge, so expect the same results.
