Did anyone in the HO receive and email from HR about updating your work history, education and skills? Just curious as I’ve been with EDJ for a long time and never received this kind of email before.

Started it and errored out. Why would it send an “approval” to someone for us to update education. So odd.

I have received that email multiple times over the years. It has nothing to do with the VSP. It is disaster recovery related so they can easily find out who has what skills/knowledge in the event there is a massive event and they need people to help cover roles.

@a7 That was what I was thinking, and feel it might be geared towards another round of VSPs and ISPs.

@OP They have sent one out in the past. They may be doing it to make decisions at the top based only on quantitative measures, not qualitative like performance. This is how people who run companies into the ground make decisions. The poor performers end up staying and the top performers are let go. Then the good performers who are left are tasked with doing more work for at most the same amount of pay. Then those performers get fed up and leave. Then you are left with only the poor performers. The people running the company then are forced to hire new people. Many times they call the people back they just let go. By the time they do all of this the benefit to the company is minimal at best.
