I’m done. Why should I work like crazy for weeks after being told I’m out? I’ll be fair and do the bare minimum, which is already more courtesy than this company showed me. Laid off and they still think I should be invested in the outcomes? That’s actually laughable.

When I was rif'd in October 2016, I was told that my last day on payroll would be 12/31/2016. I asked what should we do until then and our director seemed disinterested so I immediately went home and never returned starting that day and collected 8 weeks of pay until severance. One member of our team worked until the last day putting in maximum effort thinking execs would change their minds, How do You think that went for them?!
The only churning this company knows anymore is false churning
@OP So why don’t you just turn your laptop in tomorrow?
If I were you I'd slam everything and maximize your December check. Don't burn any bridges with the company, but maximize your check since it'll be your last.
Should be bare minimum. To be fair they are keeping you on payroll instead of taking you off, but to ask you to perform at the same level or more is silly
That’s completely crazy that they expect you to continue working. You should be done the day they lay you off.
