Severance?

Anyone receive theirs yet? Just curious how long they will make us wait for it, being the holiday season and all.

Not yet but I did receive my unemployment check worth under 15% of my old base salary, before taxes. That will go real far this Christmas..

So how are they paying the VSP folks? Mailing a check, direct deposit in your checking account or Jones Money Market account, etc....

Don't you worry, it will be paid before year end so they can get it off their books but still sc--w you on your 2025 taxes.

Within 60 days of separation. It is buried in the dense and poorly put together document that they are using as reference.

Yes, I read it is taxed at bonus rate. It will be overly withheld in most cases. You will have to wait until you file your tax return and get your refund to get the extra withholding back.

Not sure what date your VSP was, but a friend of mine was immediately VSPd in early Sept and got thiers mid October - reminder that taxes are taxed at bonus rate, not regular...
