Anyone got a 1:1 for tomorrow?

@fa You don’t understand how billionaire backroom deals work. The Dell deal with O has many angles. Electronic mutual IOUs instead of real money is how the entire industry is hyping AI in the absence of actual paying customers to pretend a profit is a good bet. It’s fake money all around. Also, MD doesn’t care about the employee experience or probably even the long term outlook of the company. He’s looking for a short term pay day and side deals playing footsie with fascists.
@dr I cannot fathom how they think this will possibly work or anyone will comply. “The business” has ignored IT for decades and done whatever the fu-k they want in labs, cloud without doing officially, etc. And teams in IT are still cooking up cockamamie schemes for empires and wrappers to continue pretending they built the things they hide behind them. It’s like no one has ever heard of this amazing Project M. I suspect it will still be that way long after it launches.
@dr Yup, and when oracal the whale goes down, so do all the tools needed to work. That should be a fun day WHEN it happens.
@bf It's been delayed by a quarter - who could a thunk that to happen? - and JC says "to be clear, this won't be pushed back again." ya ya ya... it'll be pushed back until it's actually working right, right? I mean, I'd kinda love to see it go live before it's 100% ready to go, tbh lol. It's gonna be a CF no matter what but what I can't wrap my mind around is WHY would they choose the CSP they chose? They are clunky, slow, not up to date, and honestly who tf even uses Or*** anyways lmfao.
@bf The big plan to unify the tools used by everyone into a one size fits none package has been delayed for several months..
You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous. Maverick: That's right Ice... man. I am dangerous.
goose crashed
What happened to maverick?
I'm assuming you mean 12/1 but I did hear they are laying off around 75k this week, though
