Avaya now quoting only 30% are “active users”. Does that mean 70M+ users have left Avaya? Trump-like levels of overstating the size of the business since the Ring Central deal.

Did they SERIOUSLY file their DIP BK paperwork by quoting the ever evasive 100m seats? Masarek very clearly stated in mid Dec that only 30-35% were Rev generating. And "N" could equal 90m as they constantly interchange 90/100m UC users depending on the wind and which spokesperson is spinning what.
They can't stop lying.
Yup!
So if the real number of UC users is 30M not 100M, what is the probability there are 30K customers not 90K as has also been stated for years?
Remind me how Elite / Aura UC licenses are counted. The 8K said 100m UC of which 30m were active and 6m CC of which 3.5m were active. Are the 3.5m double-counted in UC?
N0. a proportion of the 100m million didnt depart to Amazon Connect (Although I would not sneeze on them..they are making amazing progress, which is precisely why MSFT should acquire AVYA to hold their ground against Amazone Connect).
100m NEVER WAS since 2017 Bankruptcy. It was a MARKETING # they wouldn't let go of, and they repeat enough to the point that people believed it. IT WAS NEVER VERIFIED. JC HImself, reguarly, shared that only 25-30% of people who have Avaya or Avaya legacy equipment were revenue generating. SO there you have it.
ALAN MASAREK actually is the first to be honest about it. Now I wouldn't feel too comfortable being the marketing .guy who told the press just last week that the majority of the 100m seats were on Aura or Elite. That was 100% just being the "Greatest Showman on Earth" -- he has spun truths for so long he doesnt know the diff between fact and truth. Sadly, people tell him he is great so he doesnt stop.
Some went with Amazon Connect.
