Folks, has anyone looked at the latest Gross and Net Adds from all major carriers. Numbers are not adding up.
Are these telcos cooking them up?!?
Given this desperate layoffs, firing of the CEO at Verizon, is everything ok? Is there any scrutiny on the numbers from telco??

and, if you expose that reality internally, you'll get a hand slap from some worthless VP of Sales for bringing it up to be corrected
This is 100% true that they intentionally hold off on disconnects to make quarterly numbers. If auditors are out there, search the term strategic holds in emails and see what you find. The fraud is so widespread and accepted I could only assume Blackrock was behind all of it. And good luck holding them to task. So called governance is a complete farce and just there to give the false sense of business ethics.
This is rather concerning and I wish people let go come forward and expose this mess.
Doesn’t seem to be just VZ issue though although I know few quarters ago there was a big hoo hum when VZ tried to pull a fast one on investors.

Consumer has been doing adds in lieu of upgrades where the customer gets a better device promo and pays us no incremental revenue. 4th line vs 3 lines cost the same, etc. Its a house of cards.
it feels like a pending scandal if there is any manipulation going on. that can not happen at vz because of the credo. if it did then the stock price would take a kick and I suppose they blame hans?
Interesting observation. I just looked up numbers reported. Not sure where the gross adds are coming from for these telcos. With immigration down and ICE sending more people out of the country, this is definitely a head scratcher.
Definitely cooked up. Monthly there are thousands of requested disconnects in enterprise accounts that are held if the net numbers aren’t positive. I’ve seen some requested disconnects get pushed by Sr Leadership so much that their total 6 months of allowed suspend runs out and lines reconnect.
