@hb Not the case mate! T-mobile has a large call center in Fresno California. "T-Mobile’s new Fresno County call center’s hiring." They have about 1300 people there, starting pay is 20 per hour.
It literally took years for T-Mobile and Sprint to merge. In the meantime, Verizon and AT&T were spinning their wheels which is also how the combined TMO/Sprint were able to catch the pack.
Now Verizon's network advantages are all but gone making its price value equation even further out of whack. Add in poor customer satisfaction scores and Verizon's bloated costs and that's a recipe for disaster in a competitive market.
That doesn't even fully factor in Verizon's FIOS TV challenges as more people head for cheaper streaming options.
T-M has a different cost structure than VZ and AT&T as they don’t have landline infrastructure which allows them to profit nicely with lower prices. It is currently their competitive advantage. They also have premium wireless spectrum which they obtained when AT&T’s deal to buy Sprint hit antitrust issues and allowed T-M to get Sprint and all their wireless infrastructure and the great spectrum. This is how the marched right past T and V….and are valued much higher.
Sprint used to pay entirely for its employees cellphone service.
@ab management keeps the same plan and the one free phone
The VZW and VZ Fios discounts are both a complete joke!
If you like the benefits available for T-Mobile employees, then I would encourage you to try to obtain employment with them. No one is forcing you to work at this company. Your life is about the choices that you make.
25% off for VZ retirees, process that. A bit of a kick in the cr---h for 30 years of service.
tmo makes less per customer than verizon
