Do you get a portion of it? Also.... what about the other way around? If a teammate leaves before May, does their portion of bonus money get split amongst the rest of the team at the manager's discretion?

TIAA has had bonus payout the end of February for the last 20+ years. Why tf are you asking about May???
Policy clearly states if you leave before bonus payout you will not get a bonus.
For example if you resign with a last day of 2/26/26 you don't get a bonus. (2025 bonus will likely be paid on 2/27/26 due to the 28th being a Saturday).
However if your asking about May 2026 then you get the 2025 bonus bit won't get anything for the 4-5 months working in 2026.
Bonus money is a pool so if someone leaves TIAA before payout that money goes back to some pool (probably the SEVPs or T) but is not used for the rest of the team you're currently on unfortunately.

Is there a way to check on Workday what week bonuses will be paid out?
Bonuses are paid at the end of February. If you already knew that, you have an incredibly naive view of the company you work for. No you don’t get any bonus and no TIAA isn’t going to split the bonus amongst the rest of the team— it’ll likely go to the senior leadership of the company. Learn quickly that TIAA currently has the worst leadership board in decades and they will nickel and dime their employees so they get more money. Ask anybody who has been there 15 or more years.
