F that. When I am told you dont need me anymore, I agree. I will not provide project status not will I train my replacement. Remember you dont need me so I dont need to help you. Glad I got tapped....you all used me up.

The reality was a that it takes so long to fire someone at Verizon that you can easily get away with slacking off. Wait until your first warning and then pretend to do something.

Yeah u will lose ur severance if they let u go for another reason before then. When I was RIFed in 2023 I still had to work for 3 months until my last day. It was rough.

Asst manager are not required to "do things" so stop calling them out. They are here for support and to help answer questions and monitor metrics. We take ALL your escalating too!

We had 2 reps laid off on Thursday, and they actually came in too work this weekend. The Store Mgr in our store chat was asking why our location kpis numbers went down this weekend. Hopefully, he is just asking and does know the obvious reason. You just can't make it up. By the way our Asst mgrs were hanging out in the back room for both days, what do these people contribute and why does mgmt continue to let this happen? In our location the ast mgrs are worthless because our store is always at the bottom in the region

Ask your manager as it might be case by case so you don't fall into the trap. In our case we have been directed by our leadership to ask the impacted employees that they are not expected to show up for work.

Hmm, probably revoke the severance, so you get nothing.
