winners grind to bring the company back
Sunday is a good day to:
- Spend time with family and friends
- Decompress from last week
- Take a long walk with your pet
- Prepare a week's worth of meals, so you can get dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes after working a 9 hour day
- Work on your resume
- Clean and declutter
- Touch base with your parents and/or your grown children
- Pray or meditate if you are inclined
- Read a book
- Prepare yourself for the week ahead
It's time to think about your personal relationships and yourself. You will burn out and be of no use to the company or your family if you don't take some time to regenerate.
@er you're fired anyway
Stock roaring back !!!! Chilly it is 52.41. Egad
@en we all know the only "work" you put in today is the double decker dump you took for half an hour. Carry on FiServant
My only motivation is to work just hard enough not to get laid off. No bonuses for us level 10 peons
stock roaring back today, hard work does pay off !!!
@ec C-Suite Exec here...can confirm. We don't give a sh-t about y'all
Blatant sarcasm aside, Fiserv isn't the place to put in extra work. As you've said, you won't be rewarded unless you like the taste of corporate boot
There is zero reason for anyone below SVP to exert themselves at Fiserv. You will not be rewarded properly for the sacrafices in effort or time. Your merit increase will be 1.5%, there will be less stock awards, fiddling with extending vesting, and seniors preaching austerity and sacrafice while they receive large bonuses and employment contracts that allow 100% vesting of ALL stock when they depart.
I was there for 10 years in the era of Franco and his crew, sizeable rewards went to lackies, cronies, bootlickers. Blowhard loud rhetoric ruled the day. Actual experience, knowledge, difficult problem solving were deemphasized. Senior people did everthying they could to push responsibility off to lower ranked folks, mainating authority at the top, and avoid taking on issues that lower ranked folks could not solve alone. Thats how Fiserv got where it is, 99% of the blame is on the executives, and folks with SVP and EVP titles.
I'm sorry about your home life.
it's a great day to work at the best fintech in the world !!!!
I'm fascinated by all the people on here doing a big "rah-rah" about how they don't have enough knowledge and skill to get their work done in 40 hours per week, so they need an extra 20. That's not something I would admit to if I were that far behind.
I guess, to each their own...
60 for 6, i'm here for it
I’ve been practicing that work mentality for years,…I’m still waiting to be recognized and rewarded for it. 😢
surprising they didn't learn a thing, forcing people into the office 5 days 9 hours, stock is down to double digits, micromanagement wont yield results, most of the people in BH can talk non stop 8 am to 7 pm , all they do is talking with no innovation, no new products, How can you sustain such a company with bloated teams ? companies innovate with modern tech and less people per team, here I see the opposite, maintaining legacy products with over 10 people doing mundane work yet talking nonstop!
2026 will be known as, The Year of the Dedicated
